  Our Goal.   Current situation Educational progress At present, there has been a remarkable development in all aspects of the education of our school. For the quality development of education, various results development programs are being implemented and the annual educational goals are being successfully achieved. G.C.E. (O/L) Examination Pass percentage - 100% First, second and third positions of the island were obtained by the students of our college. According to the performance index values ​​issued by the Research and Development Branch of the Examinations Department of Sri Lanka, our school has been able to win the second place in the island every year based on the results of (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level exams. G.C.E. (A/L) Examination The passing percentage of the subjects of students studying in science section is about 85%.   Direction of the school course. The primary objective is to successfully achieve the educational goals of the school and to fulfill the expectations of the students. At present, our school has been able to be the leading girls' school not only in Gampaha district but also in the whole island due to the generous support given by the school board of management and teachers to fulfill these educational goals properly. It is expected to continue strive to fulfill these educational goals and meet the expectations of the community including students and parents.   History of Ratnavali Balika Vidyalaya Ratnawali Balika Vidyalaya was established on December 17, 1948 as a result of the establishment of Buddhist schools through Parama Vijnanartha Buddhist Company together with Sir Henry Steele Olcott and Anagarika Dharmapala. Then, Gampaha District Member of Parliament D. D. Karunaratne expressed his willingness to give the land of 21.4 acres and arrangements were made to buy this land with the donations of the local residents. On July 26, 1945, the construction work of the initial building was started on his initiative. Reverend Henry Steele Olcott The Reverend Henry Steele Olcott The school was given the name Ratnavali, meaning necklace made of gems, using the last three letters of the name of Mr. D. D.
